WRENTHAM—Beatrice C. (Cabral) Dias 100, of Wrentham, died Friday October 7, 2011 at the Maples Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following an illness. She was the wife of the late John Dias, Jr. who died in 1964.
Born in Cambridge, on July 9, 1911 a daughter of the late Joseph and Utense (Souza) Cabral, she was a former resident of Norwood, Westwood, and Franklin.
Mrs. Dias was raised and educated in Cambridge schools, and until her retirement several years ago, she worked as an inspector for the former Rustcraft Greeting Card Company in Dedham.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Wrentham and a former member of St. Mary’s Church Catholic Women’s Club in Franklin.
She is survived by a son, Robert J. Dias of Ocala, Fla., 3 grandchildren; Stephen B. Dias, Stephanie E. Dias, and Melissa A. Lopes, and her great grandchildren Justin, Seth, and Sydney Elizabeth Dias, and Soren Lopes.
Mrs. Dias is the sister of the late Philip, Jesse, Joseph Jr., and George Cabral, Evelyn Sapanaro Louise PerCoco, and Alice Almeida.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend he graveside funeral service Friday October 14th, at 11AM at Westview Cemetery, Bedford St. Lexington, MA. Interment will follow.
