GEORGE THOMAS “HUTCH” HUTCHINSON, 70, of Louisville, entered into his eternal rest on Saturday, October 8, 2011.
He was a member of and a deacon at Cloverleaf Baptist Church.
He was a retired Union Labor Representative for Ford Motor Co., a member of UAW Local 862 where he was former vice president, a trustee and served on several other committees.
George was preceded in death by his grandson, Bradley Wise, and Theresa Wise (mother of Bradley Wise and Andrea Hutchinson).
Survivors include his devoted wife of 42 years, Geneva “Genny” Hutchinson; his sons, Clayton Thomas Hutchinson (Rachel) and Greg Hutchinson (Brooke); grandchildren, Jason Hutchinson (Rene), Amanda Hutchinson, Chris Duggins (Kira), Andrea Hutchinson, Shane Hutchinson (Kassidy), Erica Napper, and Alyssa Hutchinson; great grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon, Alexandria, Hailey, Carter, Ayden and Calvin; his brother Charles E. “Eddie” Hutchinson (Melinda); and sisters, Mary Louise Lawrence (Paul) and Joann Taylor (Kenny). He is also survived by may nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may pay their respect from 12 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11th at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Funeral services will be conducted directly after visitation at 7:00 p.m., with cremation to follow.
