Frances F (Fox) Gattozzi 95, of Natick and formerly of Dedham, the Founder and Co-Owner of C&T Paint and Wallpaper Company of Dedham ,Wellesley and Natick, died Friday October 7, 2011 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home in Natick.She was the beloved wife of Joseph E Gattozzi with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.A Natick resident for 26 years she was born in Albany NY the daughter of late Lucien and Edith (Woodbury) Fox.
Mrs Gattozzi established the first C&T store in Hyde Park in 1934, after World War II, she opened the Wellesley store in 1947 and later expanded to add the Dedham and Natick Stores.She loved her work and thoroughly enjoyed meeting with all of her customers and finding solutions for their home improvement needs. She cherished the time spent with her family ,especially her grandchildren.Frances was a long standing member of the Cape Ann Bilble Church in Gloucester.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters,Laura Jones of Dedham, Janet Ward of Sherborn, 5 grandchildren Jeanette Keene, Debbie Gingras. Daniel Woodward, Donald Woodward, Donna Woodward, and 8 great-grand children.
She was also the wife of the late Vincent Caccigrani and sister of the late Robert Fox.
Private burial will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery in Sherborn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Sunday October 23 at 3:00 P.M. in the Cape Ann Bible Church 8 Thompson Street Gloucester MA
