Luther Sorrell, Jr, 60, of Cumberland City, TN died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Dae Huk Kang officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday and 10:00 AM untill the hour of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans's Cemetery West with military honors.
Mr. Sorrell was a retired US Army Veteran and was a member of the New Eden Korean-American Presbyterian Church.
He was born September30, 1951 in Mt. Sterling, KY son of the late Luther Sorrell, Sr. and Clotine Baker Sorrell
Survivors include his wife, Chun Hui Sorrell, Cumberland City, TN; two daughters, Kimberly Sorrell MaJunkins (Michael), Chattanooga, TN and Jennifer Sorrell Venczel (Jason), Clarksville, TN; a sister, LaVerne Eldridge, Mt. Sterling, KY; and two grandchildren, Lucian McJunkins and Julianna Venczel.
