McLARNEY, TROELOUS "MACK," 87, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Robley Rex V.A. Medical Center.
He was both an Army veteran and Air Force veteran during World War II, where he received a Purple Heart from both branches of the service. He ended his career with 22 years of service to his country. He also was a member of the American Legion Shawnee Post #193.
He is survived by his sons, Tommy Lee McLarney ( Sharon) and Michael McLarney; daughter, Gloria Billig; two sisters, Nancy L. Neuner and Sarah Elizabeth Allen; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, with his service will be noon Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
