Mrs. Catherine H. (Russell) Miller, of Taunton, died Saturday, October 1 at her residence following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Hugh C. Miller. She was born 98 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Michael J. and Ellen E. (McGinty) Russell. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Catherine enjoyed the activities and her many friends at The Arbors. She was a communicant of the former St. Joseph’s Church in Taunton.
She leaves several nieces and nephews, including John Ouellette of Onset, Edward “Ted” Mulvey and his wife, Joan of Taunton, Maureen Henault of Taunton, Helen Goldbach and her husband, Steve of Palm Coast, Fla., and Nancy Foster of Orlando, Fla., and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Thursday, October 6 at 10:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Visiting Hour will precede the funeral, Thursday, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M.
