Belmont, NH-----Katherine E. “Kay” Cashman, 69, of Belmont, beloved wife of John F. Cashman, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia Friday September 30, 2011.
Kay was born in Haverhill, Mass., the daughter of the late Andrew J. and L. Edna (McInnis) Williams. She graduated from St. James High School in 1960.
Kay and her husband John moved to California in the early years of marriage and returned to New England after retirement from the State of California. They loved to travel and see the country.
Kay is survived by her husband John F. Cashman, Jr.; her son John F. Cashman, III and daughters Andrea Cashman and Jennifer Cashman. She was the beloved Nana of her 2 grandsons Derek Addington and Owin Felty; 4 brothers John G.Williams and his wife Phyllis, Richard A.Williams and his wife Nancy, James H. Williams and his wife Connie and Robert J. Williams and his wife Jean and a sister Norma A. Riley; and several nephews and nieces. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A Calling Hour will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, NH from 9:00-10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 AM. also at St. Joseph’s Parish.
Private Family Burial will be at the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, Rt. 3 Boscawen, NH.
