Manchester– Michael R. Houle, 58, died September 30, 2011 at the Elliot Hospital following a lengthy illness with emphysema due to smoking.
He was born in West Stewartstown on April 23, 1953 the son of Gerard and Simonne (Sage) Houle.
Prior to his illness he had been a drywall subcontractor.
He was predeceased by his wife Arlene (Gagnon) Houle.
Family members include one daughter, Meghan Sherwin, three grandchildren, Madison Sherwin, Aulora Gray, David Gray Jr.; three sisters, Carol Ashby and her husband Real, Sue Moulton and her husband Steve, Christine Pratte and her husband Jeffrey; one brother, Ronnie Houle and his wife Joyce, all of Manchester; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM in St. Peter Church, Auburn. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
