Johanna K. (Boermeester) Green, a life long resident of Medford and beloved wife of the late Lawrence Green, died at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence on Saturday, September 24, 2011. She was 90 years old.
Born in Malden, Massachusetts, on January 18, 1921, she was the beloved daughter of the late Peter G. and Helena (Kat) Boermeester. Johanna was employed for many years as an Assistant Dean of Students at Tufts University. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading.
Johanna was the loving mother of Carol and her husband George H. DiNardi of Winthrop and the late Janet A. Green. She was the cherished grandmother of Nicole and her husband Jesse Rosser, Meghan and her husband Justin Wang, Erik Giangregorio and Joseph and Christopher DiNardi. She was the dear great-grandmother of Hannah, Trevor and Genevieve. Johanna is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the devoted sister of the late Yanna DeYoung and Henry, Peter, John, Cornelius and Martin Boermeester. Her funeral services were private.
