TEWKSBURY - Florence M. (Ferara) Bagrowski, age 81, died Tuesday morning, September 27, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edward S. "Mick" Bagrowski, who died in 1997.
She was born in Cambridge, November 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Manuel and Elizabeth (Walsh) Ferara, and was raised in Cambridge. The Bagrowski family moved to Tewksbury 52 years ago.
In her earlier years, she worked in the assembly and quality control areas of Datametrics company in Wilmington.
Agreed by all who new Florence, she possessed the amazing ability to always listen, never judge, and give back guidance that left every one she knew feeling as if they were the most important person sitting on top of the world.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane M. Lombardi and her husband William Gilbert of Nashua, NH; a son, William J. Bagrowski and his girlfriend, Melissa A. Browne of Derry, NH; four beloved grandchildren, Christopher Lombardi of Londonderry, NH, Lynn Marie Censabella of Litchfield, NH, Alexandra Bagrowski and Jodi Bagrowski both of Tewksbury; three adoring great grandchildren, Rachel, Logan, and Zoe; her companion and best friend, Fred Doherty of Billerica; and considered the Shiner family of Tewksbury to be her extended family.
