Passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2011 at age 76. Preceded in death by parents & sister Judy Varela. Survived by loving wife of 51 years, Jeanette; daughter Tracy (Michael) McGarry; son Mark (Jill); grandchildren Ben & Allison Carle, Joseph & Jacob McGarry; mother-in-law Elsie Anderson; loving relatives & dear friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family & friends, being at the rink, on the golf course and lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday (9/29) 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Memorials preferred to Eagle's Nest (Nido del Aguila) Children's Home in Guatemala or NSP Hockey Assoc.
