Cecile Boulanger, 87, formerly of Flat St. Cumberland and Rhode Island Ave., Woonsocket, died Friday evening at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Normand A. Boulanger.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Genevieve (Rainville) Bernier. She was a resident of Woonsocket for most of her life.
Mrs. Boulanger was employed by the French Worsted Mill and later at CD Barnes Company in North Smithfield before retiring in 1986.
Cecile was a loving wife and mother and devoted grandmother.
She survived by two sons, Richard Boulanger, and his wife Donna, of Douglass, MA, Robert Boulanger, and his wife Cindy, of Woonsocket, two daughters, Rita Demers, and her husband Rene, of North Smithfield, and Karen St. George of Woonsocket. She was the mother of the late Denise Boulanger. She was the sister of Florida Brodeur of Carver, MA, Alice Fontaine of Seekonk, MA, and the late Albert and Raymond Bernier, Sr. Rita Bernier P.M., Florence Bernier, and Theresa Bernier. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, many great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Agatha Church, Joffre Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Visiting hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to St. Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield, RI. 02896.
