Obituary

Sister Sheila Marie Buckley, SC, (Eileen Rosemary) 91 Years, a resident of Wellesley, Massachusetts died on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Newton Wellesley Hospital.

She was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on October 21, 1919 to John and Julia Mary (Cronin) Buckley. She has been a Sister of Charity for 64 years and she was missioned in Reserve, NS, Brooklyn, NY and Stellarton, NS, also missioned locally at St. Margarets in Dorchester, St. Patrick Parish Community & School where she was a teacher for over 35 years in Lawrence, St. Peters in Lowell, Mount St. Vincent in Wellesley.

She is survived by her sisters: Sister Marion Bernard Buckley, SC & Mary Nyhan a sister-in-law Jean Buckley, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers: Cornelius, John, Michael, Daniel and Timothy Buckley and brother-in-law Charles Nyhan.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 11:00AM in St. Patrick Church in Lawrence, and a burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover, MA.

Friends may call on Monday, Sept. 26, 2011 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM prayer service is at 3:30PM at Mount Saint Vincent Center, 125 Oakland Street, Wellesley Hills, MA, 02481 and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home Inc. 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA, 01841.
