Margaret Hennigan, 76, of Londonderry, NH, died Friday September 23, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Portage, PA on August 28, 1935, a daughter of John and Ruth (Lysinger) Latsko. She was a resident of Londonderry for the past 13 years, formerly living in Manchester, NH. Marge was educated in Long Island, NY, and had been employed in administration by Wang Laboratories in Lowell, MA. Always wanting to help others, she facilitated a support group for widows, widowers, divorcees’, etc. in MA. She was very active and served on several committees in Harvest Village, the community in which she resided. Marge was an avid reader, and was known as a friend to all. She was a communicant of St. Marks Church in Londonderry.
She is survived by her husband Joseph F. Hennigan of Londonderry; one son, Richard Matz of Nashua, NH; one step son, William Hennigan of Woburn, MA; two step daughters, Colleen Pierce of Derry, NH, and Deirdre Doherty of Plaistow, NH; ten grandchildren, Chelsea, Sean, Colleen, Sarah, Jonathan, Leah, Hannah, Mackenzie, Riley, and Delaney; one great grandson, Nico; three brothers, John Latsko of AZ, Thomas Latsko of FL, and Frank Latsko of Long Island, NY; two sisters, Nancy Petrocca, and Joanne Brockhoff both of Long Island, NY; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Latsko.
Calling hours were held on Monday, September 26th from 4 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30am in St. Marks Church, One South Road, Londonderry. The burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford, MA.
