Obituary

Anna M. (Blasotto) Cornoni, 88, a lifelong Natick resident, passed away on September 22, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Cornoni who passed away on July 25, 2011, and with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.
Born in Natick, the daughter of the late Angelo and Michelena (Bellofatto) Blasotto, Mrs. Cornoni was raised and educated in Natick where she attended school and graduated from Natick High School. A proud and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family, Mrs. Cornoni was also dedicated to numerous generations of Natick students, making sure that they were well fed in the cafeteria at Coolidge Junior High School and Natick High School. She enjoyed sports, in particular soccer and the New England Patriots, and was a fixture at all of the sporting events and activities that her grandchildren participated in. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles, cooking, and holiday festivities with her family.
Mrs. Cornoni is survived by her devoted children, Paul Cornoni and his wife Catherine of Millis and Alan Cornoni and his wife Susan of Medway; her cherished grandchildren Michelle Murray and her husband Jamie of Milford, Paul Cornoni, Jr. and his wife Vanessa of Washington, D.C., Michael Cornoni of Lenexa, KS, and Jillian Cornoni of Waco, TX; and her great-granddaughters, Autumn Murray and Noelle Grace Cornoni. She was the sister of Michael Blasotto of Wayland, and the late Frank and Joseph Blasotto, and aunt many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Mrs. Cornoni’s funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 9:00 AM to be followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church, Natick at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, September 26 from 4-7 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St. – 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210.
