Martha Ann (Peterson) Brady, 60, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday September 21, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Brady was born in Derry, NH on March 12, 1951 a daughter of the late Donald H. and Alice (Young) Peterson, and had been a lifelong resident. She was a 1969 graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry and graduated from Concord Technical Institute in Concord, NH. She later attended New Hampshire College in Manchester where she met her husband. She was a loving mother and wife that had a great sense of humor. She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Transfiguration, Derry. She had a true love for crafts; needle point, sewing, crocheting, and quilting. She enjoyed playing the guitar and trumpet and was an advocate for wildlife preservation.
She is survived by her Husband, William E. Brady of Derry, a son William D. Brady, and his partner Katie of Nashua, NH; two daughters, Kathleen Lange and her husband Andrew of Huntsville, AL, and Kelly Brady of Dover, NH; three Grandchildren, Allison, Molly, and Liam, three Brothers, Stuart Peterson, David Peterson, John Peterson; and a sister, Susan Oliveri. She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Karen Brady.
Calling hours were held on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 5- 8 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services were held on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Church of the Transfiguration, 1 Hood Road, Derry. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, NH.
