Pamela S. Clark, age 57
Shawsheen Tech. Mathematics Teacher

HAVERHILL: Pamela S. (Stamp) (Barry) Clark, age 57,a resident of Haverhill for the past seven years, formerly of the Newburyport and Amesbury area, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011 at home, following a 15 year courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of Andrew J. Clark, with whom she would have celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary on October 11, 2011.
Born in Lowell on December 28, 1953, she was the daughter of Albert S. and Beatrice (Coutu) Stamp, who survive her of South Lowell.
Pamela was raised in Lowell, attended Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School in 1971. During her high school years, she served as a captain girl officer. Following graduation, she attended Salem State College, where she received her B.A. Degree in Education.
Pamela was a dedicated teacher of 34 years. She began her career at North Shore Tech High School and recently taught at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School for the past 25 years. As a mathematics teacher, she took particular pride in working with low functioning students to achieve success on the MCAS. Pamela also worked for 20 years in Shawsheen's CNA Program helping adults pass the math portion of that exam. She was not only a teacher, but also a mentor who helped many students through difficult times.
Pam was an avid cribbage and bingo player. She also loved quilting and was very talented and generous with her work. Pam especially loved to vacation at Lake George, where the highlight of the trip was a dinner dance cruise on the" Luc du Saint Sacrement". Also, when Pamela was at Lake George, she enjoyed going to Saratoga Springs Racetrack to pick a winner or two. But her greatest love was her family and would never miss an event with her loved ones.
In addition to her husband and parents, Pamela is survived by three children, Kelly A. Barry of Portsmouth, NH, Patrick M. Barry and Katherine L. Barry both of Haverhill; six brothers, Albert J. Stamp and his wife Donna of Tyngsboro, Charles E. Stamp and his wife Gail of Dracut, Jay M. Stamp and his wife Pamela of Tewksbury, Neil G. Stamp and his wife Cindy and Anthony R. Stamp and his wife Melissa all of Lowell and Timothy P. Stamp and his wife Cathy of Dracut; four sisters, Tina Canup and her husband Dave, Vanessa M. Knowlton and her husband Daniel all of Lowell, Jill T. McArdle of Dracut and Melissa M. Borodawka and Steve Stalling of Chelmsford; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday, Sept. 22, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 23, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
