Orlowski and her husband James and their children James Michael and Jenna Marie; Francis (Buster) Fortin and his wife Karen and their children, Alicia, Andrew, Anthony, Stephen and Kevin; and Joseph A. Fortin. Great grandfather of Kayla.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Brockton at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm, come one come all and say goodbye to a great guy.
Obituary
Mr. Fortin died Monday at the Brockton Hospital from a long battle with cancer. Born in Brockton, son of the late Joseph and Clara (Beauchesne) Fortin. He was a resident of Abington for the past 40 years. Franny was a partner with his brother at Rofor Machine Company for over 40 years. His family was his greatest achievement. Besides the love of his family, he enjoyed fishing (catching the big one) bowling, softball and Caribbean stud poker. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church for more than 60 years.
He is survived by his wife of 55 wonderful years, Marianna (Paone) Fortin and his children, Patty (Fortin) Perdue and her husband Bruce; Jeannie T. Orlowski and her husband James; Francis (Buster) Fortin and his wife Karen and Joseph A. Fortin, 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, many nieces and nephews.
