In Providence, RI, September 17, 2011 Bonita L. died at Woman’s & Infant’s Hospital at the age of 54. Born and educated in Taunton, Bonita was the daughter of Rita (Bernier) Halliley and the late Elmer Halliley. Bonita was the Office Manager for Edron Business Systems in Raynham. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and scratching lottery tickets. Bonita was the mother of Amanda Leal and Justin Leal both of Taunton. Sister of Patricia Meack of East Taunton, Kenneth and Paul Halliley both of Fall River, James and Peter Halliley both of Taunton. Grandmother of Ashley Frates of Taunton. God mother of Jeffrey Meack of East Taunton and Nicholas Halliley of Maine. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Wednesday, September 21st from 6-8 PM. A service will be held at the funeral home after the calling hours at 8 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bonita’s memory to her family to assist in the funeral cost.
