AUBURN-Robert E. Bouley, 56, of 3 Westchester Drive, died suddenly, Monday, February 23rd in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 23 years, Nancy P. (Pisinski) Bouley, a son, Daniel J. Bouley of Auburn, a daughter, Kristen M. Bouley of Auburn, 2 brothers, Arthur Bouley of Oxford and William Bouley of County Leitrim, Ireland, a sister, Patricia Lariviere of Worcester, several nephews and nieces. A brother, James Bouley predeceased him in 1992.
He was born in Worcester, the son of William A. and Alice M. (Lambert) Bouley and was a graduate of South High School and Worcester Junior College. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Bouley was employed in the Code and Health Department for the City of Worcester for over 30 years, retiring in 2002 and currently worked at the Christopher House. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and VFW Post#5663 in Oxford. He was an avid sports fan, golfer and Worcester historian and collected lighthouses, often traveling throughout New England to visit them.
The funeral is Friday, February 27th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street, Auburn. Burial is in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, February 26th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
