Elvira L. “Vera” DEL VECCHIO, 88, of Garner Avenue died Friday, September 16, 2011 at Fatima Hospital with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.
She was a daughter of the late Frank and Louise (Tirocchi) Mariannetti. She was the beloved mother of Rose Marie Major and her husband, David of Johnston, cherished grandmother of Christine Depetrillo of North Providence and David A. Major, Jr. of Boston. She was the happiest when she was spending time with her two grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Louis Marianetti and Mary Morrissey.
She was loved by all who met her and will always be remembered for her loving and caring ways.
Funeral Tuesday at 8am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence, RI 02908. Burial in Highland Memorial Park. Visitation Monday 4-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Thomas Church.
