Mrs. Victoria (Dykas) Stympka, of Taunton, died Thursday, September 15 in Morton Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Frank Stympka. She was born 95 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Pietras) Dykas. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. She was a former member of the Children of Mary. Mrs. Stympka enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was a communicant of the Holy Rosary Church in Taunton.
She leaves: 1 son: Frank Stempka and his wife, Cidalia “Sally” of Raynham; 1 daughter: Barbara Vasconcellos and her husband, Donald of Taunton; 5 grandchildren: Brenda Hubbard and her husband, David of Woburn, Donna Foster and her husband, Brian of Taunton, Lisa Stempka and her husband, Allan Cochran of San Diego, Calif., Edward Vasconcellos of Taunton and Nathan Vasconcellos of Taunton; 4 great grandchildren: Brandon Medeiros, Tyler Medeiros, Donald Foster and Brian Joseph Foster, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
