WEBSTER - William L. “Bill” Chenard, Jr., 65, died peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 surrounded by his family in Saint Vincent Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 33 years, Karen (Bacon) Chenard; 2 sons, Steven Chenard and his fiancé, Jessica Pelletier and Brian Chenard all of Webster; his mother, Constance O. (Allard) Chenard of Dudley; aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister Linda Lemay. He also leaves his beloved dogs, Katie and Leah.
He was born and raised in Webster, the son of William L. Chenard, Sr.
Mr. Chenard worked as a welder at General Dynamics Electric Boat Division in Groton, CT.
He was an Army veteran of Vietnam.
The funeral service will be Saturday, Sept. 17 at 11:00 AM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. There is no burial. Calling hours will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, Sept. 17 in the funeral home.
