Lucienne R. ( Ouellette) Levasseur 89,of Woonsocket, died Monday in Oakland Grove Health Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph Levasseur. She was born in Trois Rivieres, PQ Canada, a daughter of the late Lucien and Emelienne ( Levesque) Ouellette. Mrs. Levasseur was a loving wife and mother and a dedicated homemaker.
She is survived by four sons; Robert Levasseur of Goldsboro, NC, Paul Levasseur of Woonsocket, Roger Levasseur of Pawtucket, and John Levasseur of California, MD, nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, and a sister, Collette Henault of Woonsocket. She was also the mother of the late Richard Levasseur.
Her funeral mass will be held Friday at 10:00AM in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave, Woonsocket, friends may offer their condolences to the family 9:30 - 10:00 in the vestibule of Precious Blood. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Hospice of Nursing Placement, 334 East Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02860.
