WORCESTER-George DiLiddo of 41 Bellevue Street died Sunday October 14th in St. Mary’s Healthcare Center. He leaves his wife B. A. (Goodney) DiLiddo, 2 sons George P. DiLiddo of Plymouth and Richard DiLiddo of Quincy, 2 sisters Theresa Belsito and Ann Richardson both of Worcester, 3 grandchildren. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Samuel DiLiddo of West Boylston and Joseph DiLiddo of Shrewsbury.
He was born in Worcester the son of Sebastian and Julia (Colangelo) DiLiddo. He was a World War 2 Army Veteran serving in Europe. Mr. DiLiddo had been a maintenance worker at Independent Plating for 14 years, he retired in 1972, he also had been employed at Worcester Molded Plastics.
The funeral will be Friday October 19th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a mass at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday October 18th from 2:00 until 4:00 PM.
