He was the beloved husband of Karen M. (Waible) Melendy, to whom he was wed for thirty-three years. Born in Boston, MA on January 14, 1963, he was a loving son of the late James and Mary (Nelligan) Melendy. Jim grew up in the Town of Randolph and was a graduate of Leland Hall High School in Norfolk. He continued his studies, graduating from Massasoit Community College and from the Rhode Island School of Design. A resident of Ellicott City for the past 2 ½ years, he was a former 30-year resident of Norton. At the time of his sudden passing, he and Karen were in the process of relocating back to Norton, a town he loved dearly. Prior to retiring, Jim was an Art Director and along with his brother Bob, a talented self-employed carpenter. While residing in Norton, along with his family, Jim was a communicant of Saint Mary s Church in Norton. Jim s family, who will miss him dearly, were the essence of his life and always came first. His hobbies included artistry, bike riding and hiking. Along with his family, he enjoyed traveling and recently returned with Karen from a wonderful vacation in Ireland. In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his devoted and loving son Ryan A. Melendy and his girlfriend Ariana Haddad of Jamaica Plain. He was the dear brother of Mary T. Born in New York City, New York on October 5, 1942, she was a loving daughter of the late Mike and Kitty (Conway) Mulvaney. Margie grew up in the Bronx as the eldest of six siblings. She moved to Cresskill, NJ to raise her family there. Always one who loved to socialize and provide a helping hand, Margie was actively involved and a well-known member of the community. She could often be found on the sidelines cheering on her kids or helping out with the Cresskill Women's Club. Once the kids got bigger, she went back to work as a school secretary in Norwood, NJ. Margie loved being a Grama and happily retired and moved to Massachusetts to help with her grandsons. She was a resident of Mansfield, MA for the past twenty-four years, but would still refer to the beach as  the shore . Once again, she threw herself into her new community - joining the St. Mary s Catholic Women s Club, volunteering at the food pantry, serving as a resident advisor for the Housing Authority, and hosting her crochet group. Margie was described as strong, caring, stubborn, and a spitfire (but not until after her morning coffee). She enjoyed traveling, from bus trips to see the fall foliage, to adventures with her siblings down in Florida or to visit cousins on the west coast, and a trip to Iceland. She was extremely proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed a trip to Ireland to connect to her roots. But most of all, Margie will be remembered for how big she loved and how proud she was of her family. She was the devoted mother of Kathleen Dias of Mansfield, Kerry Ann Reed of Hopkinton, and the late Michael Francis O Loughlin and Brian Patrick O Loughlin. She was very grateful for her sons-in-law Scott Dias &amp; Scott  Dos Reed. She was the cherished Grama of Will Dias, Alex Dias, Lucas Reed, Grayson Reed, Bryan O Loughlin, and Terry O Loughlin. He also worked for ten years at the Home Depot in Mansfield. Rod s favorite times were those spent with his family, especially with the grandchildren and trips taken to Aruba with his wife Brenda. He enjoyed engaging in projects around the home and in his yard and will always be remembered, with a big smile, for the appearance of his perfect hair. Phyllis grew up in Braintree, was educated in Braintree Public Schools and graduated from Braintree High School. A dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, she had also been proudly employed for over twenty-five years at the Raytheon Corporation, retiring as a supervisor. A longtime resident of Norton, Phyllis loved spending time with her family and had a passionate love in her heart for animals. The joy she received, volunteering her assistance at the Nine Lives Feline Rescue Center was overwhelming. When the shelter was crowded and full to capacity, Mrs. Balser could always be counted on to take the overflow of cats to her home in Norton, where they were well cared for and treated like family. Phyllis also received much pleasure tending to the birds that frequented her yard and encouraged her late husband William to become as interested, as her, in the sport of auto racing. She was the beloved wife of the late Chandrasekaran Damal Nageswaran. Born in the city of Vellore in the State of Tamil Nadu, India on January 19, 1946, she was a loving daughter of the late Gopalan Chithathur and Rajammal Gopalan. She was very close to her sisters. Her elder sister Prema took care of her like a mom and her younger sisters Anu and Reva were her partners in crime. She loved to tell stories about how they went out at night to watch live street shows and how her father was furious when he found out. When she told these stories, she forgot her age and became that little girl again. She was a calm and loving presence in the lives of all around her. All her relatives, many friends and the people who lived on her street fondly called her Mythili Maami, and her grandchildren called her  My Paati . She was very well known for the beautiful kolams she put before her home on the street every morning. She was devoted to her faith and loved visiting the Ramakrishna Math in Mylapore. Once she moved to the US in 2022, she started visiting the Vedanta Societies of Boston and Providence. She loved singing bhajans and old Tamil movie songs in the car. She loved watching old Tamil movies with  Maya Bazaar being her favorite and playing a good game of carrom. Jeanne was a light that could brighten any room, she was independent, strong-willed, creative, loving, a true caretaker through and through. She was unforgettable. She had a personality all her own and a way of leaving her mark on everyone around her. She could be stubborn, funny, spirited, and deeply loving all at once. She d walk to the ends of the earth for something she believed in. She knew exactly who she was and she was unapologetic for it. She found so much joy in creating things with her hands, cooking meals for the people she loved and bringing family together. Some of the most treasured memories of Jeanne will always be tied to food, laughter, crafts, and time spend around the table. She couldn t wait until she was able to teach the people she loved the things she knew. She had a gift for turning ordinary moments into memories, and the love she put into everything she made will never be forgotten.  Made with love as she would say. A very special place in Jeanne s story belong to her sister Lisa and her boyfriend Billy. Throughout Jeanne s illness, they showed up almost every single day. They were there through the difficult moments, the uncertainty, the heartbreak, and the days when simply being present meant more that words every could. Their love for her was unwavering till the end and their kindness, compassion, and patience serves as a life lesson to all of us. I will certainly be forever grateful for them being there for my mom when I couldn t be. To her grandchildren, she will always be Nanner. Her voice, her personality, her stories, and the memories they made with her will remain a part of them for the rest of their lives. Although saying goodbye to Jeanne feels almost impossible, there is comfort in believing that her greatest reunion has finally taken place. After so many years apart, she is holding her baby boy again. No more distance. No more missing him. No more pain or grief. Just a mother with her child in her arms again. Jeanne is survived by her father (Edmund Centrella JR), her significant other (William Pires), her sisters (Lisa and Christina Centrella), her brother (Edmund Centrella the third), her niece (Isabella Centrella), her nephews (Cameron and Maximus Stuut), her daughter (Felicia Workman) and her grandchildren (Teagen Workman, Brayden Hicks, Kaysen Hicks, and Adelynn Hicks).
