She was 87. Born in Somerville, she was the fifth of ten children. She was the daughter of the late Harry Gale and Emma (Costa) Gale, formerly of Cambridge and Somerville. Norma was the beloved wife of Anthony Arena for 68 years. They first met in Cambridge in 1957 where they both worked at the time. Norma s extended family was more a forest than a tree, and to her, each member was part of a bouquet of beautiful flowers. After spending precious moments alone with her, you would often hear one say  I am her favorite . Norma was the loving mother to her six children: Camille Bardaro and her husband Paul of Ipswich, Allan Arena and his wife Dr. Mary Medwar of Andover, Paul Arena of Andover, Marybeth Mills and her husband Stephen of Hopkinton, Mark Arena of Medford and the late Anthony Arena Jr. who passed away of leukemia in 1961. She was the loving grandmother of ten grandchildren: Anthony and his wife Chantel of Milton, Alicia Finch and her husband Caulen of North Andover, Dr. Timothy of Andover, Miranda Rendall and her husband Liam of New Hampshire, Marissa of Stoneham, Anthony of Stoneham, Stephen of Stoneham, Corey and his wife Emily of Sharon, Atty. Christopher and his wife Molly of Chicago and Adriana of Andover. She was the beloved great grandmother to her eight great grandchildren: Penny, Belle, Mylo, Eva, Addison, Graham, Jane and Ellie. She loved her children s and grandchildren s husbands and wives, with whom she always maintained a special friendship. The love she had for each one was mutual and will last forever. Dee, as all of the children called her, had a kind disposition and a heart full of love and compassion. She was a natural people person who loved everyone, which made her home a most inviting place to live and to visit. She had a legion of friends, including her Winchester coffee group, customers and friends from the muffin shop in West Medford, all of her neighbors, and especially her doctor, Misha Dad, to whom the family will be forever grateful. Her children and grandchildren loved visiting with Dee. Together they played card games, monopoly, reading, singing and dancing. Norma loved going to Disney World, especially with her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent swimmer and was a volunteer instructor for many years at the Medford High School pool. She was especially fond of her work at the pool with infants and the handicapped. Norma ran and completed the Boston Marathon, as did her husband, two sons and daughter. Norma will be dearly missed by all. Born and raised in Roccasicura (Isernia) Italy, he was the son of the late Ettore and Assunta (Di Benedetto) Di Girolamo. Ralph lost his mother at the age of six. Searching for a better life, Ralph immigrated to the United States in 1949 on a three month visa. Once in the U.S., he met and married the love of his life, Yolanda (Lolly) who was fresh out of high school. They married in 1950 and stayed married for 74 years. After many various jobs, Ralph went down a different career path in 1980, devoting his full time efforts to acquiring and managing real estate. Over the next four decades, through hard work, determination and the help of his beloved wife, he assembled a substantial portfolio of residential and commercial properties, located primarily in Eastern Massachusetts and throughout New England. For the last several years, his son Richard Di Girolamo, has managed The Di Girolamo Companies, a holding and real estate management company, for Ralph s various real estate interests. Ralph was the beloved husband of the late Yolanda (Di Martino) Di Girolamo who predeceased him in 2024. He was the devoted father of Attorney Richard Di Girolamo, of Winchester, and the loving grandfather of Assunta Di Girolamo of Naples, Florida. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Michele and Lena (Micciche) Costa. &lt;p&gt; Phyllis was raised and educated Boston's North End and later settled in Medford with her family where she was a graduate of Medford High School with the class of 1948. In 1951 she married her first husband, the late Vincent Raso. For over thirty-five years she was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Maggiore, Sr., the true love her life, and together they forged a relationship built on love, devotion and respect for each other. Over the years, Phyllis and Joe enjoyed traveling together, vacation cruises, hosting the holidays always with family and friends. They enjoyed spending the winter months at their home in Boca Raton, FL where they made many wonderful friendships and lasting memories. Phyllis was happiest when she was with her family spending time together and celebrating the special moments and milestones of her family, especially those of her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored. &lt;p&gt;Phyllis worked for many years in the Real Estate Industry and also worked as a Manager in the Restaurant Industry. In more recent time she enjoyed arts and crafts and especially enjoyed jewelry making with friends at the Delaney at the Vale where she resided. &lt;p&gt; Phyllis is lovingly survived by her daughter Linda Forester and her husband Andy of Wilmington, stepchildren, Joseph J. She is also survived by 10 loving grandchildren and 12 loving great grandchildren. Stephen had recently made his home in Boca Raton, Florida after previously residing in Winchester, Massachusetts. While Stephen truly did hate the New England winters, he leaves his love with his children Heather Graves, Madison Mazzola, and Shane Mazzola. &lt;p&gt; Born to Nancy and Sebastian J. Mazzola in Reading, Massachusetts, Stephen grew up alongside his siblings Christina Svendsen and Joseph Mazzola. He developed a passion for the automotive industry working alongside his father throughout most of his childhood. This blossomed into a career, and soon a mastery in trucks and heavy equipment. His autobody shop, Bodyworks, along with his towing company, Stoneham Towing, was his pride and joy for several years, with Global Heavy Equipment Appraisal being the next to receive his knowledge and business expertise. While Stephen was the President of all three of these companies, this role was secondary to that of a parent. &lt;p&gt; Stephen had overcome several difficulties throughout his life and decided, at all junctions, to give his children a better life than his own. Sharing his children with his late former wife, Michele Charbonier, Stephen pushed himself to provide for his family. He also shared some of his hobbies and interests with those closest to him: Stephen loved the hard rock of the 70s, such as AC/DC, film, and history. Those who were lucky enough to know him personally were often surprised to learn about his extensive knowledge of far-off countries and historical events and luckier to be able to get him off of these topics when he engaged in them. &lt;p&gt;Stephen is survived by his three children: Heather Graves, Madison Mazzola and her boyfriend, Teddy Lang, whose support had made him a member of the family, and Shane Mazzola, as well as his siblings Christina Svendsen, her husband Robert, and Joseph Mazzola. Of his extended family, he survives Phillip and Roberta Mazzola, Ann Marie Carlson and joins her late husband Craig, Walter and Elizabeth Burke, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was 79. Jerry was raised in Boston s North End, the son of the late James and Mary (Tello) Curreri. He graduated from St. John s school, Medford Vocational Technical High School and went on to study at Boston Architectural School. Jerry was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Jerry lived in Winchester for many years. He enjoyed a long and fruitful career as a draftsman. He began his career as a civilian employee with the United States Coast Guard. He had the privilege to work on many projects from the northern coast of Maine to Martha s Vineyard and Nantucket, repairing, preserving, and renovating Coast Guard facilities and historic lighthouses. After he retired from his service with the Coast Guard, he went on to work with the Medford and later the Boston Housing Authorities. His efforts ensured safe and up to date housing opportunities for those in need. Jerry was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and shooting. He was a member of the Danvers Fish and Game Club. His skills as a draftsman were put to good use with his life-long hobby of restoring Corvettes. For nearly all of his adult life, Jerry restored vintage Chevy Corvettes, even rebuilding one from the chassis up. He shared that passion and tenacity with his grandson, Morgan, who also has a corvette of his own in progress. The beloved husband of the late Lorraine (Sarno) Curreri, with whom he shared nearly 50 years of marriage, Jerry leaves his devoted daughter Adina Fuller and her husband Daniel. Jerry was a loving grandfather to Morgan Fuller. He leaves his dear brother Joseph and his wife Jill, as well as his niece and nephews: Jessica and her husband Liam, Joseph, Jr. and his wife Carrie, and RJ and his girlfriend Ali. Glenn will be remembered as a man with a huge heart. He was generous, loyal and always willing to help those around him. Glenn s kindness, strength and unforgettable spirit will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Boxing was one of Glenn s greatest passions. He became involved in the sport at just nine years old, and it remained important throughout his life. His greatest joy and the true love of his life was his daughter Gianna. Nothing meant more to him than being her father, and the love and pride he had for her were immeasurable. Glenn was the devoted father of Gianna DiMasse, and loving partner of Judy Santeusanio. He was the dear brother of Lisa Ghiozzi and her late partner Gene, Brian Burnett, and the late Cynthia Burnett. Timothy was the beloved husband of the late Madeline (Doherty) Lynch, together sharing 55 years of marriage. Born in Lowell and raised in Somerville, Tim was the youngest of 3 children of the late Timothy F. Lynch Sr. and Theresa (Gray) Lynch. He is predeceased by his brother Jack and sister Terese. &lt;p&gt;Tim honorably served in the United States Airforce from 1951-1955. Serving in England as a mechanic to decommission equipment and planes. Awarded various commendations before being discharged of his duties in 1955. &lt;p&gt;Tim had a career as a Purchasing Manager in the metals industry for nearly 30 years, going on to build his own business in woodworking and making skid pallets for local companies. Together, Tim and Maddie loved to travel when they could to various places like Alaska, Ireland and Aruba. He also enjoyed time with his family on vacation at Hampton Beach and Loon Mountain, Disney World and Wells Beach. He was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox having worked there in his early years alongside his own father who had more than 25 years at Fenway Park. He was an avid cribbage player, loved to read and spend time with his family most of all. Timothy will fondly be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and of course his little dog Clancy. &lt;p&gt;Timothy was predeceased by his wife Madeline (Doherty) Lynch and is survived by his children; Patricia Lynch, Timothy F.
