Dan grew up and lived his whole life in Chicopee. He was a prominent member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church until its closing and then joined Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Holyoke. He received the Ministry Award from the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston in 2023 for his dedication and service to the church. He worked his entire professional career as a teacher and guidance counselor in the Chicopee Public school system. Dan was named the Varsity Baseball Coach at Chicopee Comprehensive High School upon its opening in 1962 and led the Colts to 639 victories, 22 league titles, 4 Western Massachusetts titles, and the 1979 Massachusetts State Championship in 50 seasons at the helm of the Colts, retiring in 2012.  Coach D was named to the inaugural classes of both the Western Mass Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014 and Chicopee Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009 and was also named to Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame in 1985. Dan was selected as the ABCA/Diamond National Coach of the Year - High School Division I baseball in 2003. In recognition of his commitment and contributions to the City of Chicopee and the numerous lives he touched, the baseball diamond at Rivers Park was dedicated in his honor in 1994 and a rededication ceremony was held in 2026. In addition to all his baseball accomplishments, Dan led Chicopee Comp to its first WMass basketball championship title in 1965. Dan was also an avid golfer until the age of 93. He could be found in his free time, first at Oxford Country Club, then Ludlow and Chicopee Country Clubs. Aside from the numerous accolades, Coach Dulchinos was most proud of the impact he had on all of his former players and students. He loved them all, and made sure they all knew he cared about them on and off the field, and for the rest of their lives. Dan was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Anne Dulchinos, his parents Angeline and George Dulchinos, his brothers John and Peter Dulchinos, his sisters Bess Ehrmann and Chris Cahalane. Dan leaves behind three children, Susan and her husband Jeff Kazeroid of Chicopee, Angela and her husband Doug Scipione of Hingham and George and his wife Sarah Dulchinos of Southwick; and seven grandchildren, Ryan Kazeroid and his wife Jenn; Kyle Kazeroid and his wife Devin, Julia and Jessica Scipione and Aiden, Mia and Taylor Dulchinos. Dan also leaves behind his companion Elaine Dutton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom he cherished. The family would like to thank hospice for their kindness, care and compassion for Dan. He passed away October 3rd, 2026, at Baystate Medical Center. Chris lived in Manchester CT, South Windsor, CT and West Springfield, MA before moving to Chicopee, MA. Chris was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, and he achieved Eagle Scout status through Troop 25. He was a volunteer firefighter with his father Frank at the Manchester Fire Department. Chris graduated from Manchester High School in 1979 and went on to DeVry Technical School in New Jersey to get his certificate in Electronic Engineering in 1981. Chris was a drag racer for 5 years at Lebanon Valley. He was a life member of the NRA and was a range instructor and enjoyed shooting through competitions as well as recreationally. He was a life member of the Springfield Thunderbirds Booster Club and served as a former President of the club. He was a longtime season ticket holder as well. He loved to play hockey in various recreational leagues in CT and MA. Chris was the son of Frank and Patricia (Sutkus)Felletter, both of whom are deceased. He left behind two sisters, Robin Merrill (John) and Wendy (Susan Wells). Chris was married to Sheila (Singley) for 27 years. He leaves behind his precious children, Jason and JamieLynn Felletter as well. Services will be held on October 16, 2026, at Grise Funeral Home at 280 Springfield St in Chicopee. Sandy was educated in the Ludlow public schools. She pursued her education, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1970 from Westfield State College. In 1983, she received her Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Elementary School Administration from Westfield State College as well. Sandy was a teacher in the Chicopee school system for many years and eventually became principal of Streiber School in Chicopee. Following her retirement, Sandy and her husband Bob moved to Cape Cod, where she spent many enjoyable years until returning to the Springfield area following her husband s death. Sandra also enjoyed knitting, reading, crocheting, bowling, and spending time with family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Gosselin; her sister, Elizabeth Torrey; and her niece, Linda Dugas. She spent her final days surrounded by family and friends, who traveled from near and far to ease Leigh-Anne s transition and share their love. Born on May 8, 1984, Leigh-Anne grew up in Chicopee and graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Her infectious laugh (some might say cackle), unshakable sense of self, and incredible kindness and loyalty brought joy and light to the world around her. In 2009, Leigh-Anne married her love, Ryan Andrews. Together, Leigh and Ryan became the sun around which an entire universe orbited. They brought people together and created a community where everyone felt loved, accepted, and welcomed. With Ryan by her side, Leigh-Anne enjoyed spending time by the ocean, seeing live music, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing games, cooking, hosting, and relaxing at home with her favorite people and pets along with plenty of salty snacks and comfy clothes. Throughout her life, Leigh-Anne frequently spent time in Boston, being treated for cystic fibrosis. She was also the recipient of a lung transplant that extended her time on earth. In the years after her transplant, she traveled; competed in the World Jigsaw Puzzle Championship in Spain; became an aunt; and experienced countless small, beautiful moments that her loved ones will forever hold close. Although her time with us was too short, her impact is immeasurable. Her laughter, light, and bravery will continue to shine through the many people whose lives she touched. Leigh-Anne was preceded in death by her father, Frank Johnson. She will be missed beyond words by her husband Ryan, and their dog Ellie; her mother Debbie Johnson; her sister and brother-in-law Lyndsay and Anthony Neffinger; and her niece Lillian, who brought boundless sunshine to her auntie YeeYee s days. In his free time, he spent much of his time sitting by the pool, and he was an avid reader, especially the Harry Potter series; additionally, he loved watching football he was a huge fan of the Steelers. He also loved going on deep-sea fishing trips with friends and family, as well as visiting Maine in the summers to visit family. He was always surrounded by many wonderful people, and he always knew how to get a laugh out of everybody.
