He was raised and educated in Chicopee and had lived in Western Massachusetts for many years before moving to Ludlow in 2023. He served his country in the United States Air Force and attained the rank of Airman Basic. He was employed as a machinist at Smith and Wesson in Springfield. During his leisure time, he enjoyed watching movies and television and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. She was raised in the Bronx and had worked for a time as an artist at Simplicity Patterns in Manhattan, NY. She relocated to Chicopee with her mom and son, Brett and had worked as a bartender at many local bars and restaurants including the Ranch House in Springfield where she met the love of her life, her husband, John. During her leisure time, she enjoyed traveling and cruising, trying her luck at the local casinos and cheering on her New England sports teams. She was known for his Bronx accent and always remarked that,  You can take the girl out of the Bronx but you can t take the Bronx out of the girl. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and her many dear friends. Her family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the staff at Mont Marie Rehabilitation and Care Center in Holyoke and Holyoke Medical Center for their compassionate care, companionship and friendship they extended to Judith during her time with them. Pearl was fondly raised by her late parents Albert and Yvonne (McLean) Mercier. She grew up in the Willimansett section of Chicopee, but spent many wonderful days as a youth on the family farm in Canada. Pearl was a 1954 graduate of Chicopee High School where she was fondly known as  Best Dressed. A simple twist of fate connected admiring glances with an Air Force Airman named Frank, who would soon be her husband and love of her life. They tied the knot in 1956 and lived in holy matrimony for over 68 years. Her early work career included Sal s Clothing Store in Holyoke and New England Telephone. She slipped away from the working world for the more rewarding life path of staying home to raise her two precious children. Pearl was an avid downhill and cross country skier. She was a former member of the Mt. Tom Ski Club. In her early years she loved to hike, ice skate and enjoyed hot air balloon rides. Pearl was an avid reader and most days you would catch her with a library book in her hand. Adventure was Pearl s middle name. Pearl and her husband, Frank traveled extensively around the world and within the United States by air, land and sea. Together they explored 28 different countries, sailed the seas on eight ocean cruises and steamed down two Mississippi River excursions. Pearl had a fondness for the beautiful states of Vermont and Maine. She co-hosted an annual family summer vacation along the shores of the tranquil Lake Dunmore in Vermont for many years with her husband Frank. They watched glorious sunsets together on their annual fall retreat to Ogunquit, Maine. Their house on Longwood Drive was the family hub for most special occasions. During the Polish family weddings, they would twirl around the dance floor with legs kicking to uplifting polka music, being admired by all. Pearl was devoted to her Catholic faith and believed strongly in the power of prayer. No matter where Pearl woke, she began her day in solitude and quiet benediction. She and her husband Frank were active members of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Chicopee for 51 years. After the church closed this thriving parish, they became members of the Saint Anne s Church in Chicopee. Pearl was a member of The Association of Marian Helpers in Stockbridge , MA. Pearl s benevolent nature shined over the family when anyone was troubled. This was particularly true when she provided care and support to her husband Frank when his health declined. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were always the center of her life. Pearl leaves behind her two loving children, Donna M. Montemagni (Kevin) and John F. She was an Administrative Assistant at Holyoke Catholic High School; however, her greatest joy was taking care of her family. She also served her parish as a member of the Saint Patrick Ladies Guild, the Hospitality Ministry, and the Funeral and Bereavement Ministry. He was born in Springfield, MA on January 14, 1980, a beloved son of Paul R. Page and Carol A. (Curry) Welga. He was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School and had lived in Ludlow before moving to Greenwood in 2023. He furthered his education and received an Associate s Degree from Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, MA. He was employed as a Warehouse Manager at Prysmian Wire and Cable Company in Abbeville, SC. During his leisure time, Brian enjoyed woodworking and fixing things and cheering on his New England sports teams. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and many friends. He leaves his loving daughter, Grace A. Gursoy and her husband, Bilal, of Pigeon Forge, TN; Grace s sister, Mackenzie Lachance; his beloved father, Paul R. Page and his wife, Lori, of Denver, NC; his beloved mother, Carol A. Welga and her husband, Brian, of Greenwood; his dear twin brother, Steven M. Page and his partner, Jessica Gifford, of Charlotte, NC; his two cherished nephews and cherished niece, Dylan, Bailey and Sullivan; his many dear aunts and uncles including his aunts, Ginger, Sue, Peggy and Kathleen; and his many dear cousins, extended family members and friends. His relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 594 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (please meet directly at the Church). His Burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. There are no visiting hours. Page&lt;br/&gt;Sep 10, 2026</title> </item> <item> <description>AGAWAM - Eva Theresa (Boudry) Norman, 93, of Agawam, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2026. Born on October 1, 1932, in Springfield, Eva was the beloved daughter of the late James J. Boudry and Nellie (Gota) Boudry. Throughout her life, she devoted herself to family, church, and community. Her caring nature, warm heart, faith, and beautiful spirit created memories that will remain forever in the hearts of all who loved her. Eva grew up in the North End section of Springfield, working in her parent s grocery store before moving to Agawam and marrying the love of her life, Joseph Paul Norman, Jr. Their love began and grew through beautiful letters written back and forth to one another while Joe was serving in the United States Marines in Korea. Upon his untimely death in 1976, Eva managed the Valley View Apartments in Holyoke where she flourished as the owner. After selling the apartments, she worked at Weight Watchers for the next thirty years. Employees and clients alike appreciated Eva s genuine interest and sincerity in helping others. She is survived by her sister, Jeannette Boudry of Agawam; five beloved children, Marianne Devine (Bill), Elizabeth Soticheck (Mark), Joseph Norman III, Christine Gendron (Scott), and Jeannette Norman (Lou). She also leaves her nine adored grandchildren, Kristen, Michael, Mark, Nicole, Tiffany, Joey, Steve, Mikayla and Louie; fifteen great grandchildren; her niece, Marie Monahan; her brother-in-law, Nelson Norman; and her cousin, Elizabeth Haller. She was predeceased by her sister, Madeline Akoury. Her family would like to thank April and Laurice at Beacon Hospice as well as the Agawam East nursing staff for their compassionate care of Eva. Her relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA, 01104.
