Trudy (Curt) Pereira, age 80 of Somerset, passed away June 25, 2011. She was the widow of Jerry Pereira and daughter of the late Henry and Theone (Bossert) Curt. Mrs. Pereira was a retired office clerk at the Stop & Shop of Somerset. She was a parishioner of St. John of God Church.
Trudy was the devoted mother of Debi A. Cagliostro of Lake Peekskill, NY, Michael A. Pereira of Somerset, Jerry Pereira of Raynham, Mary E. Toulan and Annmarie Sawyer both of Somerset; sister of Hank Curt of Somerset, David Curt of IL and the late Jerry Curt.
She was the beloved grandmother to Alaina, Lia, Jenna, Chelsea, Hannah, Peter, Hayley, Ethan, Owen, and Mason and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was the beloved mother-in-law to Roy Cagliostro, Amy Pereira, and Chad Sawyer and grandmother-in-law to Josh Plaice.
Trudy loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed reading, watching her favorite shows, and antiquing. She leaves a legacy of a family connected to each other through love and happy memories. She is now together forever with her beloved husband Jerry.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River TUESDAY, June 28th at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave., Somerset at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.
