Mrs. Dorothy I. “Topper” (Leonard) Gendron, of Taunton, died Sunday, June 5 in the Kindred Northeast Specialty Hospital, Stoughton, following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Gerold E. Gendron. She was born 61 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Walter Leonard and Dorothy M. (Haveron) Leonard Bilodeau. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Mrs. Gendron loved her children, her granddaughter, and her animals.
She leaves: 1 son: Jeremy Gendron of Taunton; 1 daughter: Mary Gendron of Taunton; 2 brothers: Norman T. Bilodeau, Jr. and his wife, Lynn of Taunton, and Timothy P. Bilodeau and his wife, Cheryl of Taunton; 1 sister: Rennee M. Bilodeau of Taunton; 1 granddaughter: Ezrie Gendron of Taunton, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Saturday, June 25, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
