WORCESTER – Mia (Ginese) Mattress passed away on Sunday April 24th at her home.
Mia leaves two daughters: Gina Parker and her husband John of Webster, Ma; and Tessa Mahoney and her husband Shawn of Worcester; four granddaughters, Gianna, Brielle, Shaye, and Mackenna all of Webster, Ma; a mother-in-law, Alice Nobert of Auburn, Ma; two sister-in-laws, Theresa Fatemi and her husband Mehdi of West Brookfield, Ma; Linda Jacobs of Delaware; a brother-in-law, Wendall Mattress of Oxford, Ma. Mia is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mia was born April 20th, 1954 in Worcester, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Albert and Magnolia( Chapel) Ginese Sr. Wife to the late Gary Mattress who passed on December 24, 2004.
Mia attended schools in the Worcester and Wachusett districts. She was a homemaker which allowed her time to be with her family. Mia loved being home and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be celebrated in her memory on Sunday, May 1st at FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St, Worcester, MA 01604. Friends and relatives will be received from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
