James Edward Lawrence ,77 died at his home March 24,2011.
He is survived by is wife of 55 years the former Marian Sue Carter,two daughters Sandy R. Von Kannel, and Susan R. Lawrence.
three grandchildren Amanda, Zachary and Joel Von Kannel Jr.
Six brothers William, Jr.,Kenneth,Gerald, Larry,Dennis,and Robert Lawrence,one sister Barbara A Swisher.
A former 7th Ward Louisville Alderman from 1973 until 1979,he was a partner, in Johnson-Lawrence-Walker Insurance Agency.
Funeral service Sunday 11 A.M. Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Layman Cemetery in Grayson Co. Ky.
