Mr. Victor Allen Pettitt, age 77, husband of Violet Pettitt, of Pinnacle, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2011 at his home. He was born in Stokes County on December 4, 1933 to the late Hildreth McCauley and Artie Mae Reid Pettitt. Mr. Pettitt was retired from State of N.C. and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Pettitt is survived by his wife, Violet Pettitt; one son and daughter-in-law, Randal and Diane Pettitt of Pinnacle; two grandchildren, Trisha (Jody) Williams of Germanton and David (Amy) Pettitt of Pinnacle; one brother and a sister-in-law, Bobby and Doris Pettitt of Westfield. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn, Charles and Donald Pettitt. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Pinnacle United Methodist Church at 2:00 P.M with the Bro. Kenny Heath and Bro. Randy Phipps officiating with interment to follow at Pinnacle United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
