PINKMAN, James W. ‘Jim’, of Winthrop, suddenly, February 8, 2011. Cherished son of the late James W. and Anne V. (Coffey) Pinkman. Dear brother of Janice DeGroot and her husband Bob of Gilford, NH, and Jean Connelly and her husband Tom of Winthrop. Adored uncle of Pam Fish, David DeGroot, Tricia Laglenne, Kathy Marsh, and Tricia Devlin. Also survived by several grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Sat, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery. Visiting hours are Fri, only 4-8pm. Jim was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of the Winthrop Yacht Club. Jim was a retired assistant principal and teacher in the Winthrop School System for over 35 years.
