DONNELLY, Alice Marie (Lewis)
Age 88 of Nashville, passed away February 6, 2011 at Bethany Health Care.
She is Preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. (Charlie ) Donnelly, and Parents Charlie K. and Gladys Lewis, sisters; Corinne Peacher, Louise Currey, and Charlene Thoni, and brother, Charles Clyde Lewis.
She is survived by daughter, Carolyn ( Eddie ) Carter and son, Charles E. Donnelly Jr.;grandchildren, Emily ( Jonathan ) Kraft and Louis ( Michele ) Donnelly, and 3 great- grandchildren; she is also survived by brothers, Rannie, Luton and Carlos Lewis of Stewart County Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews, great –nieces and great – nephews.
The family would especially like to thank Bethany Health Care and the Staff for the excellent care that they have provided for the past 4 years and also Odyssey Hospice for the special care they provided.
Alice worked as an operator for Southern Bell, Cafeteria Worker at Wright Jr. High School and after the death of her husband she worked at Opryland USA until it closed, she love to work around people. Alice also loved to quilt and she was a member of the Music City Quilters Club.
Funeral Services will be at 11a.m on Wednesday February 9, 2011 at Ellis Funeral Home with Bro Lemuel Wade Officiating . Visitation will be 3 p.m until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m until time of service. At Ellis Funeral Home 2627 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211 615-255-5412
