Elfriede Hillhouse, 84, Clarksville, died Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Gateway Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Sunday January 30, 2011 at Fieldstone Place. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Elfriede was born on July 30, 1926 in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Simon Karl and Marie Dierks Karl. She was preceded in death by her husband; Lloyd Hillhouse and three sons; Frank Simon Hillhouse, Ernest Lloyd Hillhouse, and Ken Nowack. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three daughters; Rosamarie Rhea of Cunningham, TN, Jenny Gabriel of Clarksville, and Bonny Dantzler of Smyrna, TN, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.
