Bonnie Jean Beattie, 63 of Derry, NH died Thursday January 6, 2011 at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born September 27, 1947 in Allegheny County, PA, a daughter of Everett and Rose (Tessore)Beal. She was raised and educated in Pennsylvania, and had been a resident of Derry for over 22 years.
Mrs. Beattie received an Associates Degree, and was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a longtime employee of Pinkerton Academy in Derry where she had been a lab technician since 1992. She also was a volunteer for many years with the American Red Cross.
Surviving relatives include her husband of 22 years Jim Beattie of Derry, a son Tim Lunn of Goffstown, NH, 2 step sons, Daniel Beattie of Las Vegas, NV and Darren Beattie of Goffstown, three grandchildren, a brother Jim Beal of Kentucky, and a sister Rosemarie Jones of Pennsylvania.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation a graveside service is planned in Pennsylvania. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
