Amy Jo Brown Sprinkle Beloved Wife of Larry Sprinkle, Erin, TN, died Sunday, January 2, 2011, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with James W. Fisher, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery with a private family burial. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Friday at the funeral home and from 10 AM until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Amy was born on April 3, 1934 in Clarksville to the late George Dunn and Cora Lee Dunn. She was preceded in death by her birth mother; Myrtle Baggett Wildes, a step-son; Chris Sprinkle, and the father of her children; Billy G. Brown, Sr. She was a housewife and a great athelete where she was a winner of the Ladies City Golf Tournament and the winner of two City Bowling Tournaments and one State Tournament. Amy Jo was an active member of the Women of the Moose fraternal organization for more than forty years. She served as the Deputy Grand Regent for the State of Tennessee and as a member of the Grand Council at the international level visiting chapters across the country. Survivors include her husband; Lawrence E. Sprinkle, a son; Billy G. (Amy) Brown, Jr. of Clarksville, two step-sons; Kirk Sprinkle of Huntland, TN and Todd Sprinkle of Huntsville, AL, three daughters; Linda Brown Scott of Clarksville, Vicki G. Hughes of Clarksville, and Susie (Jeff) Shimek of Bel Air, Maryland, two brothers; Henry Baggett and Donald Baggett both of Clarksville, a sister; Peggy Austin of Clarksville, ten grandchildren; Joe, Brian, Adam, Kala, Alex, Jacob, Hannah, Dustin,Kristy and Sam, and six great grandchildren; Dustin,Paul, McClane, Maddie, Cameron and McKenzie. Pallbearers will be David Swanson, Ronnie Whitaker, Brent Whitaker, Joe Shelby, Brian Hughes, Adam Hughes, and Daniel Whitaker.
