Jennifer Lyn (Maunsell) Burns, 41, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, August 23, 2010.
Born in Cherry Point, NC, on Dec. 25, 1968, she was the daughter of Susan and Douglas Esancy of Beverly and Peter and Judy Maunsell of Georgetown. She was raised and educated in Danvers and Beverly and had been a Beverly resident for over 30 years.
As a young person, Jennifer was active in Camp Fire Girls, and also served as a Camp Fire Camp councilor. She also participated in the Special Olympics for several years. She also volunteered her time at Beverly Hospital as a candy striper. She enjoyed computers and animals, but most especially, she was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
In addition to her parents, she leaves her beloved children, Jessica and Stephen Robinson, both of Beverly, her sisters, Maryanne Peca and her husband Claudio of Beverly and Tracy Falite of Hawaii, a brother, Kevin Esancy of Beverly, a niece, Braeden Peca, her dear friend and companion Larry Gallant, Jr., and a loving extended family.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 at 9AM in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4-7PM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. As requested, burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Special Olympics, 512 Forest St., Marlborough, MA 01752.
