Mykola Czornyj, 92, of Fall River died Monday, August 2, 2010.
He was the husband of the late Anna (Stanko) Czornyj.
He was born in the Ukraine and had lived in Fall River since 1954.
He died at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River.
He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian church, Center Street, Fall River.
He was employed by the former U.S. Luggage retiring in 1979 after 25 years of service.
Mr. Czornyj enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include a son John Czorny of Dartmouth, 2 grandchildren Alyssa Czorny and Michael Czorny both of Dartmouth.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 8AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Church, Center Street, Fall River at 9AM. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Thursday 5 – 8 PM.
