Patricia M. (Crabtree) (Hannagan) Melanson, 81, a resident of North Andover, MA., passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA.
Born in Lowell, MA, Patricia attended the Lawrence, MA grammar schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She went on to graduate from McIntosh Business College as a Certified Speed Writer. Patricia worked for 37 years for New England Telephone which later became known as Bell Atlantic, NYNEX, and Verizon. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, and loved to play bingo.

a brother: H. Roger Crabtree and his wife Maureen of Methuen, MA.
a brother-in-law: Bernie J. O'Rourke of West Palm Beach, FL.
grandchildren: Annemarie Rivet of North Andover, MA. and Timothy Rivet of Lawrence, MA. great grandchildren: Nolan Rivet of North Andover, MA. and Skyla Rivet of Lawrence, MA.
nieces: Tracy (O'Rourke) Seaman of West Palm Beach, FL, and Elizabeth (Crabtree) Casey and her husband Joseph Casey of Chester, NH
nephew: Matthew Crabtree of Methuen, MA
grandnieces: Catherine and Ashley Casey of Chester, NH, and grandnephews: Scott M. Seaman of West Palm Beach, FL. and Nicholas and Sean Casey of Chester, NH.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 10:00 A.M in St. Michael's Church in North Andover, MA. Burial will be private.
