Daniel W. Carpentier 43, of Scituate, and formerly of Woonsocket died Wednesday at home. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Raymond and Vivianne (Galipeau) Carpentier. He worked in law enforcement and security for many years, most notably for the MA Dept. of Corrections.
Danny was a loving and dedicated father and is survived by two daughters; Bria and Kayla Carpentier, and a stepson, Brendan Amalfetano. He enjoyed doing stand-up comedy at local comedy clubs as well as working as a DJ with his longtime friend Paul Payeur in Paul's business.
In addition to his children, he is survived by two brothers; Paul Carpentier of Woonsocket, and David Carpentier of Pascoag, and two sisters; Nancy Dufresne of Woonsocket, and Renee Keyser of Warren. He was also the brother of the late Juliette Labonte. His funeral will be held Monday at 10:30AM in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visitation will be private.
