Leda (Laurendeau) Moore, 92, of Fall River, formerly of Westport for many years, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center in Fall River. She was wife of the late Roland J. Moore.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late Louis and Alice (Forand) Laurendeau. Prior to retirement, she was a braider for local textile mills in the area. Mrs. Moore was a Communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Westport and a former member of the Our Lady of Grace Senior Citizens Club in Westport.
Survivors include a daughter: Janet M. Palmer and her husband Roy of E. Freetown; 7 grandchildren: Ernest Moore, Sandra Seridonio and her husband Joe, Lisa Messier and her husband Jon, Eric Taber, Adam Taber, Robert Taber and William Palmer and his wife Jenny; 11 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Veronica Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late Robert Moore, grandmother of the late Jason A. Taber and sister of the late Louis Laurendeau.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, April 30, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Friday from 8 – 9:30 A.M. prior to the Mass at the Potter Funeral Home.
Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
