WORCESTER
Michael J. Lennon, 54, of Worcester passed away Sunday, April 11 in Largo Medical Center, Largo Fl.
He leaves his wife of 8 years, Donna M. (Brunelle) Lennon; three step-children, Peter O'Packi and his wife Donna of South Barre, Paul O'Packi and his wife Natacha of North Grafton and Rainni Rubin and her husband Blake of Holden; a brother, James P. Lennon and his wife, Joanne of Worcester; a sister, Eileen R. Dalbec of Worcester; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Eliza and Jaclyn Rubin, Owen and Charlotte O'Packi and Jenna Garvey-Beulow; a great grandchild, Vladia Garvey-Beulow; nieces and nephews, Kathy, Robert, Michael and Helen Dalbec and Jennifer and James Lennon and his faithful companion, his dog, Edith.A sister Rita M. Lennon predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Michael J. and G. Rita (Powers) Lennon and graduated from St. Peter's High School.

Michael was an electrician for 25 years for Local 96 IBEW, retiring in 2005. He was an avid New York Yankees fan.

The Funeral will be held on Saturday, April 17, from Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Cambridge St.. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Friday, April 16 from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holden Baseball Program, Inc.
