Obituary

Thelma E. (Bouchard) Whittier 93,of Diamond Hill Rd died Sunday in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Nathaniel T. Whittier, and the late Albert H. Bouchard. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Loretta (Jacob) Aucoin. She worked in extrusion molding at Tupperware for many years, and later was a quality control manager for Tech Industries retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Woonsocket Senior Center Cribbage League, and the Golden Hearts of Precious Blood. She was the loving mother of Richard Bouchard, and Roger Bouchard both of Woonsocket. In addition, she is survived by four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and three great, great, grandchildren. She is also survived by two stepsons; Gregory Whittier of Milwaukee, and Nathaniel Whittier Jr. of Chicago, two brothers; George Aucoin of Warwick, Emile Aucoin of North Kingstown, and three sisters; Edna Leonard of Warwick, Cecile Knott of Warwick, and Constance Berg of Ft. Lauderdale. She was also the sister of the late Henry, Normand, and Frederick Aucoin.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00AM from the Fournier and Fournier funeral home, 99 Cumberland St. with a service in the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours will be Friday from 4-8PM.
