Obituary

Glenn Davideit, 54, of Londonderry, NH, died Monday, March 15, 2010 in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. Mr. Davideit was born in Boston, MA on October 26, 1955, son of the late Roger and Jane (Cearnie) Davideit. He grew up in Andover, MA and graduated from Andover High School. Glenn had also lived in Derry, NH, Orlando, FL but had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 25 years. He was very gifted mechanically, he could look at something and he knew how it worked and if it didn’t work he could make it work. There was nothing he couldn’t fix. He worked as a maintenance mechanic for Shelburne Plastic in Manchester. While living in Florida he received his journeyman’s license as an electrician. He enjoyed going to Foxwoods and going to the Yard on Sundays as he was a NASCAR and Patriots fan, so he could watch the races and the games. His gruff exterior led to a kind man who was generous with everything he had, including his time with which he enjoyed teaching others.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sandra Davideit of Londonderry, a son, Daniel Davideit of Manchester, a daughter, Tammy Humphrey, a brother, Mark Davideit and his wife Melissa of Orlando, a sister, Sharon Davideit of Orlando, a niece, Tiffany Davideit and a nephew, Gregory Davideit, both of Orlando, two grandchildren, Brandon and Lauren, two dogs, Buddy and B.J., many cousins and many more great friends.

Visiting hours were held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 1-3pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, with cremation following.
