Robert R. Champigny 58, of 30 Devil's Foot Rd. died Monday at home. He was born in Woonsocket a son of Elise (Gignac) Champigny Nadeau of Woonsocket and the late Fernand R. Champigny. Robert was employed by Staff Mark and was a machinist for the Donahue Manufacturing Co. He served in the US Army and was a paratrooper during the Vietnam War.
Besides his mother, he leaves a daughter, Lisa Lemme of FL, and three brothers, Charles Champagne of Woonsocket, Marc Champigny of Millville, Ma, and Paul Champigny of Las Vegas, NV.
Funeral arrangements are private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to Meals on Wheels, 84 Social St. Woonsocket, RI 02895, would be appreciated.
