Obituary

Carol J. (Heilbrun) Bousquet 65, of Spring Street, died Thursday, Jan 28 in UMass Memorial Healthcare after a long and courageous battle with Leukemia.

She leaves her husband of 45 years, Richard H. Bousquet, a son Michael D. Bousquet of Spencer, a daughter Sharon M. Grimes and her husband Donald of Brookfield, two sisters Yvonne R. Little and her husband Albert of Brookfield, Linda Freeman and her husband Alvin of Barre, four grandchildren Derek & Brett Grimes, Damon A. Warren and Sarah E. Bousquet and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bousquet was born in San Bernadino, CA, daughter of Alexander and Eva (Schnell) Heilbrun. She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester. She worked as a receptionist at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Worcester for several years before retiring in 2007. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and nature. She was a member of St. Pius X Church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Susan Donohue, nurses and caregivers at Commonwealth Hematology-Oncology for their wonderful and compassionate care.

The funeral will be held Monday, Feb. 1 from MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday.
