Thomas R. McDermott, 44, of Franklin died unexpectedly November 7.
Born in Framingham, April 29, 1965 the son of Thomas R. and Sandra L. (Higgins) McDermott, of Franklin, Mr. McDermott was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Mr. McDermott was a 1984 graduate of Franklin High School and a graduate of Fitchburg State College.
Mr. McDermott was the Vice President of Clark Cutler McDermott Company of Franklin.
Tom was a member of the Franklin Rod & Gun Club, he enjoyed deep sea fishing, cooking, following the Patriots, Red Sox and Notre Dame Football.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Tracy M. Byrne and her husband Patrick of Glastonbury CT, James T. McDermott and his wife Lanie of Franklin, Kerry P. McDermott and his wife Lisa of Franklin and Michael H. and Kelly C. McDermott of Boston.
He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, Kate, Kerry and Thomas Byrne of Glastonbury and Matthew, Kalyn, Maegan and Patrick McDermott of Franklin.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 11 in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
